Numarine 78 HT moves like a shark in the waters due to its high performance motor and hydrodynamic shape like a marine animal that is fluid and agile. This new hard top measuring just less than 24 meters has been built using the infusion technique, and has a soft, efficient bottom penned by Umberto Tagliavini, one of the great specialists in the field.
The 78 HT’s main deck is surrounded by large windows aft (thanks to a sliding door) and along the sides and on the roof of the deckhouse as well as having a big windshield forward. The arrangement of the furnishings along the sides, with the conversation area to starboard and the dining one to port, also helps create a sense of spaciousness which is further accentuated by the contrast between the big white sofas, lacquered furnishings and dark flooring.
The compact, well-kitted out bridge is served by two very nice Besenzoni seats too. The simple, modern furnishings in this version can be changed to suit the client with different décor, styling, woods and fabrics. Below deck, the garage which opens on to the large hydraulic stern platform is big enough to house a tender or a wet bike and itself backs onto the roomy and highly profession engine room.
Two 1550 hp Man engines take pride of place there. They give the Numarine 78 HT a spanking 38 knot speed at full throttle and a 28 knot cruising one for which it also has a 400-mile range. The service block, which acts as a buffer between the engine room and sleeping quarters, consists of a lovely very comprehensive galley brimming with storage space, and an en suite cabin for two crew members. It is accessed via a staircase that’s located just inside the door of the saloon on the port side.
There are four guest cabins, all of which are en suite. The owner’s cabin is situated amidships while there are also two two-berths with a third jury bunk each and a truly airy VIP forward. Designed mostly with Mediterranean use in mind, the 78 HT doesn’t hold back on al fresco areas either. There’s a large central sun pad aft which provides a backrest for the sofa which faces a table with free-standing seating.
Two other seats to the side are sheltered by the deckhouse wings and provide more guest room in the cockpit. Two further sun pads separated by a central walkway are to be found forward as is a lounge area with sofa and table. This open area really does have a wonderful array of accessories, all first class including televisions in all of the cabins and the entertainment system is by Bose. The finish is truly luxury
